On Monday, August 21st, 2017, Brach Eichler attorneys and staff gathered outside for a lunchtime viewing party of the solar eclipse. While we were only able to see a partial view, everyone enjoyed the company and experience!





 


February 3, 2017 - Attorneys and staff at Brach Eichler participated in the American Heart Association’s National “Wear Red Day.” The Firm collected nearly $400.00 which will be donated to the American Heart Association. The American Heart Association organizes “Wear Red Day” annually to help raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in women and the Firm has participated every year since its inception. Cardiovascular disease, such as heart disease and stroke, is responsible for 1 in 3 deaths among women each year. The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women is asking everyone to Go Red by wearing red, living a healthy lifestyle and spreading the message that heart disease may be prevented with education and action.





December 9, 2016 - Brach Eichler LLC recently held the Firm’s 12th annual Toy Drive to benefit the Jersey Battered Women’s Service (JBWS) located in Morris County and Eva’s Village located in Passaic County. For this annual event, Brach Eichler asked attorneys and staff to either purchase merchandise or make a cash donation. Cash donations were given to Brach Eichler's own "Shopping Elves" to purchase additional toys for the collection. In response, the Firm collected hundreds of toys, clothing and other gifts which will be donated to Eva’s Village and Jersey Battered Women's Service Inc. Both organizations will then set up a “holiday boutique/shopping event” with the donations, where parents can pick out gifts for their children so that each child may enjoy a special holiday.

November 29, 2016 - Brach Eichler LLC attorneys and staff donated non-perishable goods during the month of November to benefit the Food Pantry at the Presbyterian Church on the Green. The Food Pantry has been providing food on an emergency basis to families in the surrounding communities in Essex County. John D. Fanburg, Managing Member of the Firm, and members of the Firm's Social Committee are pictured below with all of the food before it is packed up and delivered to the Food Pantry.





October 23, 2016 - For the eighth year, Brach Eichler has concentrated its efforts on raising funds for the American Heart Association. This year the Firm raised more than $23,000 for the AHA at the 2016 Greater Northern New Jersey Heart Walk. "Team Brach Eichler" was comprised of attorneys and staff, including team leader Carl Soranno, chair of the family law practice group. Brach Eichler was among the top three leading fundraising teams and the winner of the t-shirt design contest for the seventh year in a row!

Toy donations exceeded past years. "I am overwhelmed by the generosity of our staff and attorneys this year and every year," said Matthew Collins Chair of the Firm's Employment Services Group and lead "elf."

This year's elves who help collect donations and shop for gifts were Matthew Collins, Wendy Brower, Ann Wall, Phil Augusto, Debbie Edwards, Lynda Manageri and Eric Magnelli.

- Allen Popowitz, Chair of Brach Eichler's Real Estate Department and Chairman of the Board of the NY Chapter of the ALS Association poses with Arthur Cohen, founder of PickALS. The Firm purchased PickALS for all of its staff and made a $2,500 donation prior to the Thanksgiving holiday to support this worthy cause. Arthur's PickALS aren’t just raising significant funds for ALS research, they’re raising awareness of this devastating disease. November 5, 2015
-  Allen Popowitz, chair of the Firm's Real Estate Dept. and Chairman of the Board of the NY Chapter of the ALS Association, attended the 21st Annual ALS Association Sports Award Benefit at the Marriot Marquis yesterday. - For the seventh year, Brach Eichler has concentrated its efforts on raising funds for the American Heart Association. This year the Firm raised more than $19,000 for the AHA at the 2015 Essex County Heart Walk and Fun Run.  "Team Brach Eichler" was comprised of more than 50 attorneys and staff, including team leader John D. Fanburg, our managing member and chair of the health law practice.  Brach Eichler was a leading fundraiser  and this year's t-shirt design contest!

- Brach Eichler Attorney’s and Staff participated in a dress down day event in support of Teams For Kids Foundation, Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds to allow children from homeless and low-income families within the State of New Jersey to participate in recreational sports programs.

For this annual event, Brach Eichler asked attorneys and staff to either purchase merchandise or make a cash donation. Cash donations were given to Brach Eichler's own "Shopping Elves" to purchase additional toys for the collection. This year’s donations almost doubled that of the past years. In response, the Firm collected hundreds of toys, clothing and other gifts which will be donated to Eva’s Village and Jersey Battered Women's Service Inc.  Both organizations will then set up a “holiday boutique/shopping event” with the donations, where parents can pick out gifts for their children so that each child may enjoy a special holiday. October 27, 2013 - For the fifth year, Brach Eichler has concentrated its efforts on raising funds for the American Heart Association. This year the Firm raised more than $13,500 for the AHA at the 2013 Essex County Heart Walk and Fun Run on October 27, 2013.  "Team Brach Eichler" was comprised of 50 employees, including team leader John D. Fanburg, our managing member and chair of the health law practice.  Brach Eichler was the leading fundraiser among the participating law firms, winning the "Lawyer's With Heart" Challenge and this year's t-shirt design contest!






On June 22, 2013, a team from Brach Eichler LLC volunteered for a day of construction in Madison with Morris Habitat for Humanity.

In addition, our firm raises money to support local charitable organizations by holding periodic "Denim Days."

Our attorneys and staff are also active individually in the communities where they live. They offer their time and resources to help a diverse group of organizations, including the East Orange General Hospital Foundation, the Diabetes Foundation and the Essex County Estate Planning Council.



Carl Soranno, Chair of the Family Law practice group, is proud of Brach Eichler's support of the Group Foundation for Advancing Mental health, which supports education, training, research and community programs that benefit individuals, families and communities through group work.
