Stuart Gladstone is recognized as one of New Jersey's leading authorities representing individuals as well companies of all sizes, in the fields of comprehensive estate planning, business succession and estate taxation. His particular blend of experience proves invaluable for business owners wrestling with the structuring of purchase and sales of companies; tax efficient transfers of company equity to family members; qualified and non-qualified retirement plans; and key personnel incentive plans. He also provides counsel on estate planning to minimize federal and state estate death taxes through wills, trusts, life insurance planning and sophisticated gift and/or sale strategies.

Stuart is a member of the firm's Management Committee and is a founder and chairman of the board of the Essex County Estate Planning Council. He is chairman of the firm's Tax Practice Group.  He is also a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Stuart was named as a "Top 1% Americas Most Honored Professional" in 2015 by The American Registry.  Stuart has been peer review rated as AV Preeminent, the highest rating for professional excellence by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been selected by his peers on an annual basis to the Best Lawyers in America list and the New Jersey Super Lawyers list since 2005. He was also recognized as a Best Lawyer in New York in 2009 by New York Magazine. In addition, Stuart was selected as a New York Area Top Lawyer in 2011 and 2012 by New York Magazine and a Top Lawyer of New Jersey in 2012 and 2014 by New Jersey Monthly.
