Isai Senthil's health care practice includes the representation of a diverse group of health care providers, including hospitals and individual physician practices, in a variety of legal matters. Her practice emphasizes HIPAA and privacy-related issues, fraud and abuse, self-referral issues, corporate transactions, corporate governance, corporate compliance and employment-related matters. Isai also focuses on corporate risk management, credentialing and medical staff matters, medical staff disputes, medical staff bylaws and general corporate health care, including corporate organization. Isai frequently advises clients on Joint Commission accreditation issues and state and federal law reporting obligations. She also regularly provides advice on the legal considerations involved with the use and disclosure of health information, including requirements imposed by HIPAA, HITECH and other federal and state privacy and confidentiality laws.

Isai is a member of the Asian Pacific Arab Lawyers Association and the South Asian Bar Association. She currently serves as a mentor to law students through the Asian Pacific Arab Lawyers Association. While in law school, she was the recipient of the Distinguished Health Law Scholarship; on the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board; president of the Asian, Pacific and Arab Law Students Association; and a research assistant in the health law program.
