Bobby Kasolas concentrates his practice in the areas of complex business, commercial, intellectual property, construction and real estate litigation. 

Bobby has represented and litigated against some of New Jersey's largest commercial and residential developers, contractors and property owners in disputes involving all aspects of real estate, business and construction litigation.  He has also represented many business owners defrauded or oppressed by their business partners, and has obtained injunctive and final relief in favor of those clients.  In addition, he has represented manufacturers and marketers in cases involving the theft, misappropriation and infringement of his clients' trade secrets, copyright works, industrial processes and trademarks.

In 2011 and 2012, Bobby was named a "Rising Star" in the State of New Jersey by New Jersey Super Lawyers.  Given his business background and experience, he has the ability to practically, efficiently and economically handle legal matters from inception all the way to the conclusion of trial, and through any subsequent appeal process.  He has successfully litigated a variety of matters in both state and federal court, and before the American Arbitration Association.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

• Representing a large-scale commercial developer involving a $75 million shopping mall project against some of New Jersey's largest contractors and subcontractors;
• Representing a commercial developer against a publicly traded national homebuilder involving a $5 million interference claim;
• Representing a publicly traded web hosting company against another publicly traded Internet business website for breach of contract;
• Representing a property owner in a massive title dispute involving deed restrictions imposed upon an entire neighborhood, with over 40 litigants involved in the matter represented by many of New Jersey's largest insurance defense firms;
• Representing land developers against one of America's largest financial institutions concerning breach of contract  and lender liability claims in a construction lending dispute;
• Representing the builder and seller of a $4.1 million home against the buyer for breach of contract; and
• Representing one of the country's largest manufacturers of restaurant industry hardware and equipment against a former contract manufacturer involving misappropriation of trademarks, goodwill, customer lists and other intellectual property.

Bobby began his legal career as the law clerk for the Hon. Kenneth C. MacKenzie of the Morris & Sussex County Chancery Division, the longest serving judge in New Jersey history under the 1947 New Jersey Constitution.  Bobby graduated from Rutgers Law School - Newark, where he co-authored and published a groundbreaking work entitled "Bad Designs, Lethal Profits: The Duty to Protect Other Motorists Against SUV Collision Risks," an article that had a profound impact in compelling the automotive industry to significantly improve the designs of their SUV models.
