Every day, 1 out of 10 people use AI to create content – answers, documents, letters, poetry, summaries, etc. – according to conversative estimates, and its rate of use is only accelerating. In the healthcare industry, AI is used to assist with medical record notetaking and to coordinate and manage care. As a manager responsible for your organization’s policies and practices, do you know which employees are using AI, how they’re using it, and whether they’re disclosing such use to your organization? More fundamentally, can you summarize in 25 words or less how AI creates content? Have you developed an employee AI policy? Have you trained employees on the acceptable use of AI? How do you plan to enforce your AI policy? And, when one of your clients, patients, customers, or vendors is given an AI-generated document that is just plain wrong – an AI hallucination – do you have a contingency plan in place? Attend our presentation “AI In The Workplace” to learn how AI works, why it’s critical to choose the AI platforms that are acceptable for use in your organization and regulate what information is input into an AI generator, what needs to be done to check AI output for accuracy and validity, what type of employee training is appropriate in our AI-age, and how to manage and mitigate AI-related liability and risk.
