Brach Eichler LLC Promotes Seven Attorneys

Roseland, NJ (January 1, 2023) – Brach Eichler LLC, a full-service law firm based in Roseland, NJ, is pleased to announce the promotion of seven of the firm’s attorneys to member, effective January 1st.

“Brach Eichler is excited for the Firm and elated by the contributions of our newly promoted attorneys from a wide range of practices across the Firm,” said Managing Member John D. Fanburg. “The addition of our new Members to our rosters, as well as our two newly installed Brach Eichler signs (one facing Eisenhower Parkway and the other facing Interstate-280), and our newly expanded office, all occurred thanks to the extraordinary determination, skill and efforts of our Brach Eichler team.”

Promotions to Member are as follows:

Alex Capozzi is a certified civil trial attorney. He has extensive experience litigating cases involving personal injuries and complex civil claims in both New York and New Jersey. Alex has personally obtained multi-million-dollar jury verdicts on behalf of injured victims. He is believed to be one of the youngest attorneys in history to obtain a multi-million dollar jury verdict at trial.

Shannon Carroll focuses on healthcare litigation, complex commercial litigation, compliance, and healthcare fraud. She has experience in all aspects of litigation from the client intake process through trial. Shannon represents doctors and other healthcare providers in civil and administrative actions involving fraud allegations, reimbursement issues, professional licensing issues and contract disputes. Shannon also successfully represents healthcare clients in disputes involving restrictive covenants, shareholder oppression, and unfair competition.

Jonathan Davis is a transactional attorney concentrating in commercial real estate. His practice includes all aspects of commercial leasing including office, retail, warehouse, industrial, and ground leases. He also works closely with our Healthcare department on Medical office and surgery center leases. Jonathan’s practice also includes the representation of institutional and private lenders in mortgage loans and other secured transactions.  His practice also includes managing environmental issues in leasing, financing and sale transactions.

Jeff Itzkowitz’s practice is primarily focused on commercial and corporate real estate transactions including  leasing, sales, acquisitions, and all types of financing. Jeff’s portfolio of matters includes development and construction projects, including the development of residential apartment houses, condominium, townhome, and single-family communities; conversions of existing properties to the condominium and cooperative form of ownership; limited liability company partnerships and related work; and environmental and land use issues.

Eric Magnelli concentrates his practice on labor and employment matters and a broad range of complex commercial litigation, construction disputes and contract interpretation. He counsels, investigates and litigates a wide range of labor and employment matters such as discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing, discipline and discharge, layoffs, collective bargaining agreements, reasonable accommodations, compliance with state and federal family and medical leave laws, applicable wage and hour laws, ERISA and OSHA regulations and also conducts training in these areas for executives, directors, managers, supervisors, and employees.  Eric drafts and provides advice on employment contracts, employment manuals, personnel policies and procedures, restrictive covenants, and severance agreements.

Caroline Patterson concentrates her practice on the representation of healthcare providers and other business organizations in a wide variety of transactional and corporate matters, including acquisitions and sales, mergers, strategic partnerships, private equity investments, HIPAA compliance, ownership and compensation arrangements, and employment negotiations. Caroline also has extensive experience advising investigators and clinical institutions on clinical trial agreements and clinical research law.

Jay Sabin is in the firm’s labor and employment practice and heads the firm’s transportation practice.  Jay provides strategic counsel to clients on workplace issues such as benefit plan design and administration; executive compensation and nonqualified deferred compensation plans; discrimination; internal investigations; whistleblowing; discipline and discharge; reductions in force; collective bargaining; reasonable accommodations; and leaves of absence; and wage and hour compliance.  Jay also advises on FMCSA safety compliance and workplace drug testing.  His clients cover a broad range of industries, including trucking, logistics, media, warehouse, healthcare, cannabis, and manufacturing.
