Jeffrey Soos maintains a diverse litigation practice representing businesses and individuals in both federal and state courts. His experience spans a broad spectrum of complex commercial disputes, including antitrust, trade regulation, and unfair competition claims; contractual and business disputes; class actions and consumer fraud matters; intellectual property and patent infringement litigation; and minority shareholder oppression and intra-family financial and real estate controversies. With extensive trial experience, a versatile skill set, and a thorough understanding of the issues that drive high-stakes disputes, Jeff is well positioned to guide clients through even the most challenging legal matters.
In addition, Jeff has experience defending employers in all aspects of employment litigation. He has represented institutions of higher education in a wide range of complex civil disputes involving professors, administrators, and students, including employment, consumer fraud, and Title IX claims.
Jeff is regularly called upon to serve as local counsel for out-of-state law firms and their clients, leveraging his deep familiarity with both New Jersey and Federal local court rules, procedures, and practices to ensure seamless coordination and effective representation across jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Brach Eichler, Jeff spent 25 years in the litigation practice of a mid-sized New Jersey firm. He previously clerked for the Honorable Thomas P. Olivieri, Superior Court of New Jersey, and served as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor.
