Two of New Jersey’s top law firms recently announced the results of their executive committee elections.

Brach Eichler

Roseland-based Brach Eichler LLC expanded its executive committee, adding litigation practice chair Keith Roberts to join five returning members.

Effective April 1, Roberts serves alongside:

  • Susan Dromsky-Reed, co-chair, Trusts and Estates
  • Alan Hammer, a former managing partner and member of the executive committee since its inception
  • Brian Lenker, chair, Corporate Transactions & Financial Services
  • Allen Popowitz, chair, Real Estate
  • Keith Roberts, chair, Litigation

Managing member John Fanburg remains active as chair.

In a statement, Fanburg welcomed Roberts as the newest member of the committee. “Keith has had an exceptional tenure netting big wins but also showing invaluable contributions in areas not solely related to practicing law, such as client service and innovation in how legal services are delivered,” he said. “I have no doubt he will bring the same drive, passion and spirit he bestowed among his clients to this new role. Keith is a highly accomplished lawyer with a track record of delivering extraordinary client impact.”

Day Pitney

Day Pitney LLP recently elected several partners to serve on the executive committee and executive board, according to an April 2 press release.

The firm announced the appointment of Elizabeth Alquist to the executive committee. A partner in the Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation practice, she has chaired the Litigation Department for the past two years.

Alquist joins existing members, Managing Partner Gregory Hayes and Michael Byrne. She succeeds David Doyle.

Mark Salah Morgan is based in Day Pitney's Parsippany office.

Day Pitney also announced the election of Joseph Fagan to an inaugural term on the firm’s executive board. Fagan is a partner in the Energy Litigation area. Additionally, litigation partner Mark Salah Morgan won re-election for a second term.

Morgan practices in the Parsippany office. He was also recently named vice chair of the Litigation department, according to a Day Pitney spokesperson.

Fagan and Morgan join existing board members Tasha Dickinson, Amy Lonergan and Namita Tripathi Shah.

In a statement, Hayes thanked Doyle, who is also based in Parsippany, “for his leadership, hard work and countless hours dedicated to our firm’s growth.”

“Our firm is blessed to have talented partners with proven leadership skills, who are enthusiastic about guiding our firm forward. I am excited about working with each of our leaders and welcome the fresh perspectives they will bring to their new appointments,” Hayes said.

Day Pitney also named two new chairs earlier this year – Miami’s Manuel Garcia-Linares (Litigation department) and Connecticut’s Darren Wallace (Private Client department).
