Real Estate Tax Appeals Alert: 2020 Filing Deadline Extended

BACK TO INSIGHTS     Alerts

Due to the State of Emergency declaration in New Jersey relating to the COVID-19 coronavirus public health crisis, the filing deadline for local property tax appeals has been extended to the later of May 1 or 30 days following a determination by the Governor that the State of Emergency has ended.

In these uncertain economic times, it is critical to review your property tax assessment to determine if you are paying too much tax.

If you would like an immediate, no-cost review of your tax assessment or if you receive a complaint from a municipality seeking to increase your tax assessment, please contact Dan Pollak at 973-403-3119 or dpollak@bracheichler.com as soon as possible.
