Doris Cheung is Counsel in the firm’s Litigation practice. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts and arbitration and mediation.  She has experience with complex civil litigation, contract disputes, insurance and healthcare matters, shareholder disputes, employment disputes, and other commercial claims.

Doris has worked for several well-known law firms in New Jersey prior to joining Brach Eichler, where she will practice complex commercial litigation. Throughout Doris’s career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing exceptional legal services and a client-centered approach. She works closely with clients to ensure their needs are met while navigating legal challenges with precision and efficiency.

  • Secured temporary, preliminary, and final restraints on gas station owner alleged to have breached a contractual Right of First Refusal to sell the property.
  • Arbitrated a condemnation matter involving a multi-million dollar property and secured an outcome that was millions less than that sought by plaintiff.
  • Member of litigation team that settled a $25 million claim in connection with alleged misrepresentations in asset purchase agreement.
  • Member of a trial litigation team that recovered $10 million in damages in favor of Fortune 100 insurance company in a bench trial.
  • Instrumental in preventing adversary from dissipating $3 million in assets during litigation through the pursuit of a Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act claim.
