NJDEP Releases Updated Instructions and Forms for RAPs

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) released new forms and instructions following the recently adopted amendments to N.J.A.C. 7:26B, 7:26C, 7:26E, and 7:26F that resulted in significant changes to the Remedial Action Permit (RAP) process.

The release provided that the Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment (CSRR) posted the following updated forms and instructions:

    1. New RAP Initial/New Media Component Application-Soil, Ground Water, and Indoor Air;
    2. New RAP Technical Modification Application-Soil, Ground Water, and Indoor Air;
    3. New Administrative Changes Application;
    4. Revised Contact Information Change Form;
    5. New RAP Application to Administratively Combine RAPs; and
    6. New RAP Termination/Removal of a Media Component Application.

In addition, a new Indoor Air Notification Area webpage was created to provide information related to indoor air institutional controls.  The Geographic Information System FAQS webpage was also updated with information on including the Indoor Air Notification Area in a GIS deliverable.

NJDEP announced there will be more forms to follow.
