Commercial Litigation Attorney (4-6+ years’ experience)
Brach Eichler LLC is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 4-7+ years of commercial litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing cases, conducting discovery, and drafting motions. Chancery practice, health law and/or construction law experience a plus. This role offers significant client contact and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Conduct depositions, discovery, and legal research.
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials.
- Work closely with partners and clients to develop case strategies.
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New Jersey required. Admission to practice in New York is a plus.
- 4–7+ years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm.
- State and federal court experience.
- Strong writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proficient in all aspects of eDiscovery, including best practices for the preservation and collection of electronic evidence and review of eDiscovery using an electronic support software platform such as Everlaw or Relativity.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple matters and meet deadlines.
- Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and client-service mindset.
Compensation & Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $145,000 - $175,000+, with exact compensation determined based on individual qualifications. In addition, attorneys may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus and an origination bonus.
