NJDEP alerted the public that beginning December 2, 2024, all Underground Storage Tank (UST) submissions must be made on  the portal.  Specifically, the paperless service at www.njdeponline.com must be used for the three major submission types for UST Registration Services that are used for registering, renewing, and providing financial assurance mechanisms for regulated underground storage tanks including: Initial UST Facility Registration; Annual Renewal/Modification of UST Facility Registration; and Financial Assurance Mechanism Updates.  In addition, UST facility owners and operators may use the UST Additional Certification Service for additional certification to a submittal, if required. An Authorization Form for UST Registration is available at: https://dep.nj.gov/srp/forms/ust/. This form should be attached to each service where the certifications for the UST facility owner and/or UST facility operator are completed by another user on behalf of the owner/operator as their duly authorized representative.
