Stan Barrett is a member of the Litigation practice group. Mr. Barrett offers sophisticated and strategic legal solutions to clients engaged in complex commercial disputes, including class action securities litigations, securities-related matters affecting closely held companies, partnership disputes, complex contract matters, fiduciary duty matters and shareholder derivative investigations, merger and acquisitions litigation, and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Barrett has also led numerous internal investigations and represented U.S. and international institutional clients in white collar defense matters before the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, the Board of the Federal Reserve, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

Mr. Barrett has developed a robust cable television and telecommunications regulatory practice, where he routinely represents major cable television providers and other telecommunications companies in state regulatory matters before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.

Before joining Brach Eichler, Mr. Barrett honed his legal skills with an AMLAW top-ten firm in New York City. His extensive commercial litigation experience and academic background afford him a unique perspective on complex legal issues and how best to convey his clients’ positions to achieve optimal results on his clients’ behalf.

Mr. Barrett received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Barrett earned a Ph.D and M.A. in English Language & Literature from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also majored in English.
